Linkpop

Linkpop is a link in bio tool created by Shopify. It was primarily designed for Shopify sellers, allowing them to showcase and sell their products from a web page. They can add a link to this page to their social media bios or any other websites they’re active on.
This link in bio tool is available as the web version at Linkpop.com, as well as a Linkpop app, which you can download on Android or iPhone.

Among the pros of Linkpop:
✅ Easy page creation: Due to its basic features, you can build a Linkpop page in just 10 minutes.
✅ Free to use: Shopify offers Linkpop completely free, although sellers still need a Shopify subscription and pay a commission from each sale. More on pricing.
✅ Shopify storefront: This tool lets you sell goods directly from the page, though only Shopify products.
Users often mention the following downsides of Linkpop:
❌ Limited design options: This link in bio tool only lets you change the background, button and text colors, and the font.
❌ Few content blocks: Linkpop allows you to add only Shopify products, music, video, and links.
❌ Not for non-Shopify sellers: The above limitations make Linkpop a poor fit for those working outside Shopify sales.
Below are some examples of Linkpop pages.

Linkpop.com is available for free. However, if you’re selling Shopify products, you’ll need a paid Shopify subscription. Pricing starts at $5 per month and goes up to $2,300 per month, depending on the features. You’ll also pay a commission to Shopify for each product sold. It can be as high as 2.9% + $0.30.

If you’re not a Shopify seller or simply want more features in your link in bio tool that Linkpop offers, we recommend a platform similar to Linkpop — but better.
That tool is Taplink. And here are the kinds of pages you can build with it.

We’ve covered Taplink’s advantages over Linkpop in detail in this article. But in short, Taplink beats Linkpop in the following:
✅ Instant page creation: With the AI page builder, you can build an entire page in 10 seconds.
✅ 60+ templates: Taplink offers high-converting templates for any niche, which sets it apart from Linkpop that doesn’t provide any.
✅ 20+ content blocks: Unlike Linkpop, you can add text, images or image carousels, countdown timers, maps, and more to your Taplink page.
✅ 0% commission on digital product sales: You can sell digital goods from the page with no commission to Taplink. For payment acceptance, there are 60+ payment providers.
Try to sign up on Taplink and create your own page on Taplink. And if you need a step-by-step guide, you’ll find it here.
Linkpop was discontinued on July 7, 2025. From that date, users can no longer edit their pages, download the Linkpop app, or log into their accounts.
Shopify provides the Linkpop link in bio tool for free. However, to sell Shopify products from the page, you need a paid Shopify subscription and must pay a fee for each sale. See the pricing breakdown for more information.
It depends on the features you need. If all you want is a Shopify storefront, Linkpop might be a good fit. Linktree could be a better choice if you aren’t a Shopify seller and want a bit more freedom in page settings.
For those looking for a versatile tool suitable for any niche and offering more features, we recommend Taplink.
